Ellie Goldman, a co-founder of RipTide Music, is an accomplished singer and musician in her own right. She brings to her work a depth of knowledge that can only be gained by experience.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ellie has worked in the performing arts since she was a teenager. She began her career as a professional musician, playing guitar and singing with folk rock bands. She has toured extensively, and recorded for two major labels, including Mercury Records where Quincy Jones signed Ellie and her sister Lydia as The Wood Sisters. She has also worked in radio, film production, and distribution, before becoming partners, with her husband Rich, in Cincinnati’s Fifth Floor Recording.

Although music remains her first passion, she enjoys using her creativity in business and finance to help grow RipTide Music. She still occasionally performs with her husband Rich and children, singer-songwriter Jessica and guitar player/singer-songwriter Scott.
