intergalactix

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, longtime friends & collaborators Kristian Attard and Serg Dimitrijevic collided at the beginning of 2013 in Los Angeles, forming what would soon become known as Intergalactix – an interstellar combustion of music, space travel and vintage devices.

“Our taste in music is so vast and varied that we didn’t want any preconceived ideas or thoughts to influence our writing and producing of this project. We needed it to be organic and we had to love it,” said Dimitrijevic The eclectic range of the duo’s influence is apparent as it resulted most recently in a funky futuristic interstellar pop EP entitled IWSOM. IWSOM fittingly stands for “If We Stepped On Mars.” The album showcases a carefully crafted sound that is warm and familiar yet entangled with space-age melodies and textures that will send the listener to distant dimensions.

It only makes sense Intergalactix wanted something new and fresh considering the busy musicians have been working behind the scenes for more than a decade on projects with the likes of Cool & Dre, Good Charlotte, Jason Mraz, Heart, Earth Wind & Fire, Kelis, Allen Stone, Ariana Grande, and Pras Michel (the Fugees). In February 2014, they also supported Zedd on his Jimmy Kimmel Live set.

Fix your eyes on the sky for the much-anticipated landing of Intergalactix.
